Are any changes required to the BD box when you change elevation? I don't get that impression from reading the manual for it, but wanted to be sure. The sled I'm picking up on Saturday has the twin setup on it.

I spoke with boondocker on this about two weeks ago. The box intercepts the fuel map from the ecu. They told me that ecu signal will be modified by the box the same amount no matter the elevation.

popa, thanks for posting that. I won't worry about burning it down here if that's the case. AKM8, I'll post my numbers on Saturday when I get the sled.

I also run an 05 M7 162 with the boondocker box and slp twins. On the slp website (under the installation instructions for the pipes) there are the recomended boondocker settings. I also spoke with slp about an updated ecu, and they said that the numbers are also good for the updated box (06 fuel map). I ran these settings and they seemed to be a pretty safe starting point. Hope this helps.

Can anyone else share their #s?

Here's mine. I'm having some problems pulling RPM above 7000. It seems to hit a wall around 6850.

Any ideas? I'm running at 1000 feet at home.

Well, I loaded the SLP #s into the BD box, and holy ****! There was the performance I was missing!

I did notice that once the pipes hit about 1050-1150 on the EGTs, it didn't want to pull much RPM on the top end and somewhat hesitates. Anyone else experience it? Any way to correct it? I'm seeing about 8000rpm, a little low. I'm going to pull a gram out of the weights and see how it behaves.

I didn't get a chance to lean out the 7800 reading, but the problem is still present, just doesn't show up until I get the pipes good and hot. I'm thinking it's loading up with fuel and takes some time to clean itself out.

I'm going to give it another try tonight, unless anyone else has some suggestions. I'm all ears.

Can anyone else post their #s? Please indicate your elevation as well. I'm thinking this may have something to do with it.
