You have the "race" can? How loud is it in your opinion?
I've got the race can too. It's loud on hard pack, but tolerable. If you are in some fluff it gets muffled by the snow pretty easily.
It's definitely loud, but not as bad as the pipe that was on my tnytro. That thing gave me a headache by the end of every ride.
