here how she looked before have a holz skid all powder coated black 700 rmk turbo

tore it down to get some powder coating done

cut the running boards off

bolted some stuff back on

started making the boards

ready to be finish welded

boards back from the powder coating

also made a bumper and had it coated too

then i got bored with the 700 motor so have a apex motor im going to shoe horn in there. still will be dropped down 3 inches and layed back. (shops a mess from getting everything moved out to new shop now)

your going to want to reinforce that bulkhead. the edge is pretty weak behind the shock mounts. check the diy watercraft thread

ya im actually going to do that and build a tower like on the pro rmk.

we stuck a rx1 motor in a dragon already too

What did you build the boards out of? They turned out pretty cool. Looks like an interesting build.

boards are 1in aluminum on the outside tube and the inside runners are 3/4

the powder coat is a silver vein and when baked it cause the chemicals to react and split
