Where to ride in Michigan

Im looking to come up and ride some time soon up in michigan, where is a good place to go this time of year( i want more back country riding) and places to stay

any help would be great!

I like riding around twin lakes/ south range. A lot of off trail areas around there.

But until there is a big storm, riding in the U.P. is out of the question since there is no snow anymore...
