hood foam

Just got my m8 bone stock do i leave the foam under the hood in or pull it off,

Pull it off. It is only in there for transport and delivery. And it gets pretty heavy after it absorbs the humidity of melted snow.

what year?

If its a 2010 or newer leave it it weights nothing.

I would think creating as much space under the hood to allow air flow.....would be enough reason to remove it.

The only reason it is there is to help pass EPA sound regulations...correct?

I took the foam off the side panels on the 2012... and it weighed OVER FIVE OUNCES!!! :spit:

Nothing??? PFFT.. that's over 1/4 lb... SERIOUS weight loss there.

The front end feels WAY lighter now...
