I am installing 8 or 9 tooth extros on my edge and moving the skid back 2.5", will I need a anti stab kit? or is this something I should not worry about. I really do not know what anti stab kits are?

I think it all depends upon how far your rail tips are from your drivers and how loose you plan to run your track. If you have quite a few inches between them you might want to think about using them. Anti stabs are basically very small wheels that bolt to the rails or to the forward limiter strap cross shaft. SLP and many others sell the kits.
