Track to Tunnel Clearance (side to side)

Just purchased my first ski-doo. When looking at track to tunnel clearance, I have about an 1/8" on each side. Is this the way it is intended to be, or is there a spacer that the shop missed??? It seems that any torque would put the track to the tunnel and start to wear...

The 08' XP's were tighter than the 09's.
I did add t-slot washers to the rear skid/tunnel bolts on my 08'.
For 09' they addressed it.

yep, I put a washer in my 08.

It should be fine, just measure the width at the back bumper, and see it it is the same at the rear drop bracket.

close fit - make sure to check the bumper bolt inside the tunnel - it will chew the lugs up. Mine did this - found a thread on SW for the fix (change the bolt - duh). You will love the sled
