I just priced belts local. The 115 is $186 and the 048 is $94. My stock (115) belt just gernaded at 650 miles. I dont want to spend 200 bucks on another belt thats gonna gernade in a year. Is anyone actually running the cat belt and if so how many miles/what kind of riding do you have on it.
Thanks

Another for the 048 belt...didn't see a drop in performance and I actually think the 048 lasts longer than a Polaris 1115 belt...my Polaris belts ALWAYS seem to tear cords out of them, I don't like them at all.

Here is to another guy running AC belts on his $12k Polaris because they seem to work the same if not better and cost less than 1/2 as much:face-icon-small-dis

I have over 600 boosted miles on my current cat belt(this is the first one I tried). I didn't have to adjust the belt deflection at all when switch for the poo to cat belt. Works great. I bought a 3 pack of cat belts off ebay last winter for $180, so 60 per not too bad imho.

So, I picked up a 2012 Pro RMK 600 with only 68 miles on it, max speed registered on the guages at that time was 50 mph, didn't even think to check the belt, took it out to ride it and the belt had been trashed. Yes you can tear up a 115 belt because the previous owner to this sled did! She was some rich lady from New York who rolled into Aspen, bought the sled, went up Indpendence Pass twice, probably got stuck somewhere and sat there and ate a hole in the belt! Dang it! Expensive for me! (Price on the sled was awesome so who cares, right?) It was a nuisance though because I hadn't purchased a spare belt yet so I rode it all day with the bad belt.

I've used the 080 belt on my '07 Dragon with very little noticable difference other than they will not last as long. I'm pretty sure the shoulder angle on the 080 is less than the 115, 26 degrees vs. 28 degrees.

The 122 belt is the same dimensions as the 115 belt, it's made by a cheaper process and it is the stock belt for most if not all of the flatland 600's. As far as I know Polaris doesn't put it in any 800 machine from the factory. My dealer recommended carrying it as a spare belt.

I've ran the Carlisle belt and had to drop 2grams off the weights. Just drive it this year had to be 8 grams under polaris spec to get 8100rpms. Belt has 2000 miles on it and is 4 years old.

Just bought a 115 belt to see if I can put polaris spec weights in again.

Freeagent on here, $72 for Cat 048. Give her a call.

Going to give it a shot and see how she runs. Think I'd like to drop weight of the primary, better backshift?

Had 122 belts warrantied in early 900 days as 115 was being developed. Belt works well performs great and lasts as long as you take care of it. ( any belt )
Softer and did not ding clutches as 115, Venting to keep temps down and 800/1000 miles was normal.
Great for a spare you can beat on while headed out and leave on if needed. my.02c

Run the 122 it works great on the 600 polaris better than the 115. $90 and free shipping on eBay.

I have a few 046 belts in my garage. Can I run the 046 or is it going to be too tight?
Same here. I have a cpl 046 belts laying around but bought a 048 as a spare. Being the 046 is 3/4" shorter than the poo belt yod have to adjust the deflection some giving a higher starting ratio. Bet it would work queston is would it bottom out before full shift out or not?

I'm not pushing the belts like you guys are, but I have 1500 miles on my original belt. I will pay big bucks for a belt that will last and not blow out on me in the dark or while I'm trying to cross an open stream/bog situation in some godforsaken place. The 1115 seems pretty tough.
