Where would I start with one of these projects? I have been thinking about doing this for 3 years. Do you guys buy rolling chassies or 440's and go from there? I want to do a iqr with a cleanfire 800 this summer for next year.

Try buying one off a race team. You can buy in pretty good shape and for pretty cheap. That's what I did. I can't wait to post my pic's!!:D

This chassis is the most fun out of all the sleds I have ridden. The only variable is the powerplant. I run a 600 HO motor and it is plenty for a 185 lb guy. Sure, a 800 will wax it on a long pull, but so will a turboed Apex. This sled rocks in the trees. I run a 144 and think it is plenty long. Ride on!

How much does one of these weigh? Do they handle alot better then the 08 dragon boondocking?
