2006 or 2007 Apex?

Two different local dealers have hold over sleds for sale here are my choices. A 2007 Standerd Apex Mountain for $8995.00 or a 2006 Apex Mountain for $8200.00 with Ohlin shocks. What did they change between the two years? What would you guys in the know do? I plan to turbo it right away.

nothing major that they didnt change. I'd go with the 07.

I know they changed the ECU also, some people were changing out the 06 for the 07. I'm not sure it is a big deal or worth it though. The handwarmers are supposed to be better on the 07, but they sux still.

I wish I would have bought a low km used sled cause I have a pile of brand new parts never used after putting on the turbo etc.Those ohlin shocks would be a nice upgrade on the 06 though.

I would go with the 07. Upgraded ECU and it's newer.

Go with the newer one it will always be worth more

go with the 07 you'll be much happier and they run a whole lot better They changed the fuel mapping so they do run a lot better

Can the 06 ECU get sent in and reflashed?

I inqiured to a couple dealars and no-one had any clue? Any help would be appreciated.

2006 has a cooler key haha

The 06 does have a cooler key but if i remember right it weighs 2oz more than the 07 key. Just food for thought.

I'm pretty sure it can't be flashed, if it could have, nobody would have bought the new one.

I didn't think they made ohlins for the Mtn. Does the 06' have the wider stance?
