XP Post Forward Mod

ok not sure if i understand correctly , this bracket will or will not work with a stock airbox ?

and what would it take to make it work ? can i modify my stock box ? or do i have to replace it with a after market one ?

and how much cutting on my console do i have to do ?

sorry about the confussion :(

but ide love to keep my bars where they are now but the caster swing that were speaking of needs to go if not be minimized

It will work with the stock airbox if you use a straight post. We can mod your stock post so it will work. pm me for pricing. You will have to trim the console forward about 3 inches.
 
C3, What is the purpose of this mod? You mention this as the solution to a problem.
 
it corrects the steering angle so the bars dont fight you when trying to cross turn i find. even with the bars further farward does stop you from standing further back but you can still tuck right in. best mod far as handleing that you could do to an XP.
 
Nice mod. I like this. I have always felt that the bars should pivot staight on the post not fight the post. The stock setup turn in an arc not a circle like a steering wheel. I'm interested, nice work.
