With the lack of snow in the mid-west I am sure plenty of guys are thinking about rolling out west this winter.

The number 1 question is I get is..."what should I bring?"

Here is a list I assembled of the things I carry. What do you carry in addition to these items?

Yes, you should have a back pack, and fill it with safety and survival goods in the event you are separated from your snowmobile.

Recommend Safety and Survival Gear Check List
Remember, some items are available for renting through local outfitters or online sources.

Northern MN.
High quality knife, water proof matches, fat round candle, vinyl electrical tape (3M 33+),
toilet paper for the obvious which also is a great fire starter, small snickers bars, beef jerky. This is just a minimum.
