where to park truck with trailer near trails in houghton, mi

i plan on going up to houghton this sunday to get my girlfriend a little ready for going out west, but have never been there before and don't know where to go to get to trails or where to park a truck and 27' trailer, please help and give me a idea if there is a place to park my rig and where it would be, thanks.

South Range

Best place I would recommend is in South Range. It's a small town JUST to the south of Houghton. On the southeast side of town there is a decent sized lot that is plowed where you will be able to park. A few hundred yards from there is a BP with premium non-ethanol and the trail is RIGHT next to the parking lot. Have fun!
