where is my coolant going?

Look inside the bottle.

Is there a grey tinge? Does the bottle have grey on the inside?
Does the coolant have a grey color mixed in it?

If so, you have an inner o-ring leak on your cylinder top and your leading coolant into your system. Hence, exhaust had is bleeding into your coolant.

You'll burn coolant pretty quickly that way.

since its a 2014 how much coolant does it hold?

the 14's have one heat exchanger in the front and no heat exchanger in the back

Coolant with that o-ring leak will be bright green, but have an ashy swirl or color to it.
And there might be a dirty grey bathtub ring above the coolant level.

coolant is clean a whistle...checked it tonight and absolutely no discoloration or anything that looked concerning.....thank you for that info and help!

looked up how much coolant a 2014 PC holds....only thing i could find was one answer and said it holds around 5.3 liters sooooo like 1.4 ish gallons if my conversions are right. does that sound about right to everyone????

i think fixing the cap did the trick!!!
