Bottom line on the turbo 2 stroke M series is to have multiple belts on hand and change them out before they become an issue. And do you remember that a few short years ago SLP and others were making a lot of different supports for the Edge chassis sleds that had beefy motors (such as the 910) to keep Motor and clutch torque to a minimum?
My 07 M1000 was a very torquey monster and used up both belt models before their time. We narrowed it down to the fact we had as close to perfect alignment as possible while COOL AND SITTING IN THE SHOP and then bad alignment in "on again, off again" WOT situations. I wish that could be remedied easier while keeping stock motor mounts. Anyone tackle this yet?
