Wanting to build a hot fan cooled leafer

I read on line the 380 ho is almost 60 hp ( saw dyno runs ). The 503 is 50 hp. I dont even know where to find a 380 ho. Does anyone know what sled they came in ?

What's everyone's opinion for a fan cooled hot rod for tight trails and the odd hill climb ?

Fanner

There is a reason fanners only make 60 HP. Much above that they burn down with regularity, due to the fact they cannot rid themselves of the excess heat that comes with the increased power. The Ski Doo trail sleds of the 1990's and early 2000's had a 380CC option. They go OK at sea level. At 6000 ft they are out of power. 440cc liquid cooled Sno Pros made almost 120 HP at 8500 RPM - before the rule change allowed 600cc in Sno Cross.

Search for a fan doo over on doo talk that was a 625. I think it was made by a user named Lrd or Lrm. Really light weight and some good ideas used. That was quite a while ago though.
