Walker Evans

just picked up a set of walker evans to replace the base ride fx shocks on my 14' standard rmk and they seem to be shorter by almost an inch. Should i be concerned about this? they came off a 16' axys. do i need to replace the shafts? or just run it?

The base RMK used the steel a-arms still after the Pro model switched to aluminum so your shocks are actually a little longer than the 2013+ Pro-RMK and Axys sleds with aluminum arms. They'd probably work in a pinch but I'd take the opportunity to upgrade to a 36" front end if you can afford it, i think all of them work with the shorter 2013+ shocks length. My brand of choice was Alternative Impact because of the sacrificial rod ends that save the arm in the event of a good ski hit.

I might have a set of shocks from a 12 pro rmk that are the same length as your stock shocks. Possible trade?

I'll have to go find them and measure them.
On the 11 and 12 pros I would use 13 on up pro rmk shocks with a 36" a arms.

Well if you’re interested in trading I think I tried PMing you but not sure if I did it right. New to the forums

If your still looking, I have a full set to trade also, if you need them.

Polaris WE shaft parts difference.
I’ll have to check ctc when I get back to the shop.
