Up pipe gasket blown out by turbo?

I have all my exhaust wraped or blankets should I be using a different gasket it has a graphite one now that is blown? I just ordered a different up pipe from evo.

Stock gasket with the EVO "Lockdown" kit will keep it from blowing out.

I thought that the lock down kit was for the manifold to the turbo not the up pipe!

YES!! You are correct. I misread the post. The lockdowns won't work on the downpipe because it has nuts on the back of it. Just the header.... sorry for the confusion.

I did order the lock down kit just in case when I get it apart I find that also to be an issue

false.... the lock down kit will work with manifold to turbo and turbo to out let pipe. I have them installed in both places on my BC275 turbo with evo 2.5 outlet pipe.
