Turbo snowbike

Are they still a thing? I've seen a few and they seem cool, does anyone ride them? If so what set up are you rockin, and anyone got one for sale?

I know two people who have had them. They make the bike extremely unreliable and they broke down a lot. They are hard to get working correctly.

The one guy got it working properly and it was just too much power in the trees. It could outclimb everyone on big climbs because it had more power, but he was the only guy who could make those climbs so he had to come back down and ride what everyone else rode anyways.

In the end with all the hassle, breakdowns and cost both of them sold them and would never do it again.

That's pretty much what I've seen as well. Seems like a good idea but in real life not so much. I guess if you rode in the big alpine exclusively it might make some sense but in the trees they don't help, just more $hit to go wrong.

Agree triple the work to keep it running.. when they run their fun but I have had way more fun spending the money building out a naturally aspirated engine ..

agreed and having a turbo super moto for the summer would be pretty neat too
