Turbo Fuel Pressure Carbs

I am trying to figure out why my sled goes lean at 7lbs of boost I have a carbed auto turbo setup I have pressure referenced the carbs and cannot find any leaks. The fuel pump has 45lbs fuel pressure capability. I have mounted a mallory 4309 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator upside down, has anyone done this. Getting frustrated and desperate
Thanks

How lean? Possible fuel frothing from vibration and resonance??? That's the only thing I can think of. Maybe the regulator is faulty.

you need at least 7lbs over boost on fuel. Did you add a power jet to turbo or crossover tube? where do the power jets get their fuel from?

Power Jets get fuel from carb bowls and are mounted in the carb throat.

do you have a powerjet on the turbo or crossover tube? what is your fuel pressure when it hits 7 lbs of boost

you need a power jet in the crossover tube. what is you fuel pressure doing when it goes lean?

My gauge only goes to 15lbs but it does show pressure until it falls on its face then I lose vision on the fuel gauge.

I have been trying to tune my setup lately. Same as you. Aero 53, mallory 1:1. Steve packer (Turbodoc) on here sells these and reccomends 5 psi base fuel pressure. I think my aero is fried from motor fragments but I will have it all back together next week and I will chime back in after trying more pressure, I have been having issues getting this sled to run. what is your setup?

I was not saying your air box leaks, but if it is not built right you will end up with air block where the boost will stop the air from entering the carbs even the lines that pressurize the float bowls.

Also what elevation are you at? 380's sound a bit low to me. 480 is stock right? On mine at sea level at 10lbs boost i see approx 21-23 psi on the fuel guage. What kind of fuel presure regulator are you using? How many turns is your powerjet on the turbo?

I am running at 10,000ft.yes you are right 480 is stock with the DPM I have deleted the DPM and also added power jets. I think I have figured it out I have found a leak going into my boost controller that is big enough to not allow the wastgate to open. Thanks for all of the help.
