Turbo doo's in cooke?

I have an idea who's kit it is, but care to share the details?? I have ridden quite a few different boosted XP's, not just my kit either, probabaly more than most have seen and I can tell you there is a vast difference between all the XPT kits being sold now. So everyone keep in mind that everybody's kits perform differently.

Dave

I finally got to ride a xp turbo and I got to tell you.... WOW!!!!
I have ridden a lot of boosted sleds both 2 stroke and 4 strokes
This sled has some great potential!
I have never been sold on having a turbo on a 2 stroke and tomorrow will be a hugh test..
We will play with the clutching, (because we are BANGING off the rev limiter)
We will be in real world conditions and I do plan on filming! Our group will be 1 Big *** Nytro turbo
1 Dragon 700 that runs great ... stock
1 M8 with a pipe
1 M8 with pipe and head work
9000 - 10,000 feet elev.
And we will find some good snow!!

The filming will be unbiased.. Because I want to see the truth..

XP Turbo

Got some good footage today of the New Turbo Performance XP kit today!!:D
Big Thanks to DC Turbo for braving the elements today and helping us do some unbiased filming!! As soon as we get this downloaded we will post the link for you all to see. I will let him speak as to what he witnessed today since I am a Skidoo guy it would be onesided.;) Snow was pretty good today but the visibility at times was not. We will be getting more filming done this weekend and early next week as well, hopefully the sun will shine a little more.:beer;:beer;

Well hopefully the filming turns out.
The Turbo Doo ran great and was very impressive.

Now I am a Yamaha man thru and thru and I always want the Yamahas to win any hill climbs.,

The sled was set up by Moore Performance. And has the NEW Turbo Performance Kit 2871 Garret.
The sled was running 9-10 #'s The RPM's were 8400 on the climbs and banging the rev limiter on the flats. Jim will have that fixed by the weekend.
Comparing the sled with the other stock sleds there is a big difference.
So hopefully the videos show some of the things that I saw.
The Doo hung fairly well with the big Nytro and even out shined it in certain areas. and it killed the stockers.
The boys at Turbo Performance have a great product and Jimmy from Moore Performance has got this sled ripping!
Now some one needs to figure out how to make the stock skid keep those skis down.
It hurts me to say but nice job Bryce, Josh, and Jimmy.

Shootout is the 9th and 10th of January boys...hold your horses for a couple more weeks!!!

Jake

I heard that the video was a big hit at a party Sat. night where there were a lot of snowmobilers. What I understand is that the camera is missing the wire that you need to connect it to the computer and download it.
So hopefully tomorrow!!
Patients young grasshoppers!!

All I got out of this was of course a good running doo will outshine a yamatank in the steep n deep boondocking, can tell how hard the guy on the nytro was trying to work that thing, they will however kick major *** in hero snow or steep set-up chutes climbing
(from what I've seen and I haven't seen a turbodoo running steep chutes or hero). The nytro has a wicked wrap job and the other stockers didn't look to committed to making anything.Of course maybe they were and that was just deep fluff that is hard to run. My N.A. XP would pull all that stuff you filmed, that's why I'm going to Cooke to see for myself. Now on the other hand re-build(that's what you have to do to a yami) a Xp with a 74 skid, dropped, 3" camo, turbo, motor work, and lets see the two, in other words drop over 20k into a XP then lets talk............?

WOW....
Have you ever rode with a good runing turbo sled? Their was one bottom less day last year that my pretty good runing stock bore xp and 3 other xp's had made probably over 30 runs. All track poaching at one hill trying to pack it down and wasn't even half way up yet. A turbo apex with a 162 shows up and in all fresh tracks across the bottom and all the way up makes it with ease with 20+ mph ground speed first try.
I can't wait to have my turbo xp done. hopefully in the next couple days.
and for all the jokers about the xp's not being able to make it up the hill. Their was 3 cats that never even made it to where we were.
I rode with a 09 tubo m8 last year on only 6psi boost. Their wasn't a NA anything that was even close. It was a 153 hcr. Can't imagine runing my xp or a m8 at 10+psi.

where is everyone meeting at on the 9th i will be staying at the supper8 i hope My 860 is running by then.

my dad and uncle along with some others will be at the super 8.. me and my buddies are gonna be at the alpine. I would say we can descide on meeting places when time gets closer, if the weather is gonna suck, try to find somewhere inside to meet and greet, then head out, if its nice, say hi outside!

Anyone have a snow report? Hope its not like most of idaho....:( pretty much trail only most places.

doo looks like it was running pretty good. not to rain on the doo's parade, but the nytro guy looked like the sled was riding him and not him riding the sled.

Im hoping to make this big rondevous!I am awaiting my kit from Dave H.He said I will have it by the end of this week.If everything goes as planned,I will bring my XP,along with two guys with Tm8's.Should be a good time you know. www.xtrememountainsleds.com
