Tunnel cut to take a regular 850 Khaos 155" down to a 850 Khaos 155 slash.

I've watched the Mountain Sledder Garage YouTube video on this but he does a 155" slash and then cuts it down shorter.
In the video states you can do it to a regular 155" and seems pretty straightforward,, but my concern is the dimpled rib top aluminum part of the tunnel looking off or bad once cut.
Anyone done this and have any tips/pointers or any pictures of how it looks once done?
Nathan

Here's a picture of him after cutting showing fitment but as you can see the raised portions on the top of the tunnel are my concern and how they'll marry up with that end aluminum piece from the tunnel that holds the snow flap and light

I cut a 165 down to a 146 basically. It’s two inches longer than the stock 146 slash. I’ll be running a 155 on it mid winter and swap the skid to a 146 late winter and spring.

I was concerned about the tunnel extrusions lining up too. It ended up not mattering to me. I know it’s not the best.
I should have used the small rivets. I also nicked the tunnel with the cut off wheel, so had to paint part of it. I’m also wrapping it. So, I wasn’t too worried. It was pretty fast, and SO much easier than a cut and weld job!

How far back do the tunnel coolers go on the non-slash? I know they're longer than on the slash, but would you need to cut them as well to shorten the tunnel?

The heat exchanger goes back to where the rear bolts go through the tunnel from the suspension..
