That sled has the old external drivers. If you want to upgrade to a new style track, you have to change the drivers.

Track Questions - 84 Skidoo

The '84 Safari 447 came with a 16.5" x 124" track, which had a 1.97" pitch. The drivers were the old external sprocket type. The stock track was used from 1975 to 1994 on a number of models including Safaris', TNT's, Everests, Escapades, and on some Formula models.
