i was wondering if you could use any tach (automobile style) on a 02 edge? sled curently has no tach and was curious if i could just pick one up at the parts store. then i guess the next question is how would you go about installing one? any one ever do this??

No. You need a tach from a 2 stroke. The tach is calibrated for the number of pulses the stator generates. On the 02 Edge you need a tach set for 6 pulses. Check a wrecker for a used tach for your specific sled.
