I think those straps are the way to go. Many benefits.
I'm going to get a pair. Its hard to get the tie-down hooks on the fat bars
Anything to keep my bike in its pristine, unscratched condition!

The trails need the moister on 75% of what's out there. pretty dusty yesterday.
I got the pack just need the quick release holster.(which now that I think about it, I probably have as well.)

After seeing how great these are when loading my father-in-laws bike I'm getting these.

Well our club Hare Scramble is this weekend and I will try and pack the camera in my pack so I can take pics while I'm out working the course and add to the thread. Maybe even the nasty dry river bed full of rocks and boulders since I know you guys like that sort of thing.
