Sounds like they making a comeback

I've never ridden one but would be interested. Especially with some more modern tracks, engines and weight savings.

Personally would love a purpose built bike, especially with a little more power. I don't ride my 450 in the summer anyways.

Last year Boivan made them,800's, he knew he made a machine that no one would top for a very long time. The fanners where early 2000s.

These below are 136 skids and didn't come with names.

A 600 with 100+hp and a cvt is what the people need. I want to ride one if they make the necessary update/upgrades.
The old 600s' push out 118 Hp stock set up, the 800s' 150 on the low, drop in kit and rage cage wakes them up.

had one . Its heavier than a sled and wont follow a nimble snowbike. needs sled open type terrain, Really a useless machine as it wont hang with a sled either.

I agree, I had one too. I think the biggest downfall was having linkage steering, the forks have to be attached to the handlebars.

I've got a big ride coming up, I'll be the only one ski running with sleds, five day remote ride.

You ride what fits you.

Yes there's no comparison from a converted dirt bike to a turn key. All depends on what you want, I've thrown a leg over a kit a few times, you'd have to be an idiot not to. They actually ride really nice just not my thing unless someone gave me one.

I also grew up on motorcycles and sleds more of an adrenaline junkie, the bike in raw form is kit ass.

Lot of work fitting one to a person's size, I taught her how to ride one

yep that's the boring terrain they work well in , They wont follow a snow bike and wont keep up with a sled , Its a all purpose machine but doesn't excel at anything . I have sleds , snow bikes and a hawk.

Out ran that Viper across a lake, ever since the Hawk came out it has to be the most hated or loved machine.

Looks like fun! Definitely looks like more fun in open terrain than a snowbike but definitely doesn't look as nimble as a bike in the trees. I ride some real jungle thick stuff that is impossible on sled and probably would still be hard on the hawk.

I'm more interested to see what is developed the next few years. Similar setup with a substantial weight savings would be real interesting.

I agree that train looks pretty boring I would even avoid that kind of riding when I had a sled. When it's all open with lots of tracks I would head straight to the trees. But if I HAD to ride in that terrain then a Snow hawk would be pretty cool. If they could make it a lot lighter it would appease a lot of people who want a fast straight line Sally with a CVT. I did spend some time on one in 2003 ish? it was a 600 but it had a really crappy ski at the time and I didn't like riding it in the trees at all I could go faster through the trees on my sled.
