Snow predicted next few days for the Black Hills. 7-13 inches expected tonight through Monday night. 60% chance snow for Tuesday and lesser chances for Wednesday and Thursday. I just got back from Hardy Camp on Friday night. There is some snow on the shaded slopes and some of the roads are very icy in some areas. The ground is frozen and is ready for this seasons snow pack. Let it come. I start trail inspections latter this week.

Trailshead is reporting around a foot on Monday. Terry Peak reporting 8 inches. NWS is predicting 4-8 inches for tonight and tomorrow. Less in the Lead-Deadwood area. I am heading up tomorrow to start pre-season trail inspections. I will start a BH conditions thread this week if the internet is working at Hardy Camp.
