At the end of his post he also asked if the CFR bars would work with the ski-doo adjustable riser and they will if you buy the correct one. Bar Clamp size on new G4 is 7/8" , CFR bars need 1.5" bar clamp. So to use the cheetah bars you need either an adapter or new riser on the G4

For those of you who replaced the factory handlebars, were you able to salvage the heated grips and reuse them?

If you are careful with the heat gun, should be no problem. I would recommend buying new cork, since it's cheap and your dealer should have it.

Use a hair drier or heat gun and take your time. You can reused heated grips and cork. There's a few good videos online on how to do it.
