What's a guy gotta do to run the the new series 6 track on a pro? Couldn't find what pitch it is. Need avid drivers or what.

Depends on what year pro your putting it on. Series 6 is 2.86 pitch so I would get the Polaris drivers when they are available. They will be 7 tooth and that will give you the gear reduction needed and clearance. I am assuming if its an older pro with the 12 style drive shaft you will have to buy the new driveshaft. Otherwise not sure that Avid is building drivers yet for center punch track in 7 tooth 2.86 pitch for older driveshaft but I am sure they will be available shortly

fairly certain there is room on a stock pro and the 2.6" being a 2.86 pitch would be a drop in unit.

that being said you could throw some wahl or avid 7 tooth 2.86 pitch drivers on and away you go.

You think it'll fit with the 8 tooth drivers? If you go to 7 tooth, don't you need to do an anti-stab kit too?

Eyeball your stock track clearance, I would be surprised if it isn't a direct swap. The only question is it truly 2.6?? The 2.5" tracks fit no problem with stock drivers.

So all I would need is this?

I bought those from Robbie at Avid - 7 tooth 2.86 pitch non-extrovert with center driver for 2013 drive shaft... going to put them on my wife's 2013 Pro 600 along with a Camo Extreme 9104M - benefits are gear it down without a gear down kit AND gain some clearance for snow cleanout AND not have to run antistab.

Robbie hesitated to make them for me, said I would be the only person in the US running 2.86 pitch 7 tooth without the extrovert (with the center driver)...

Now Polaris copied me and it becomes popular... :eyebrows:
