With this throttle block kit there is a 20 amp mini fuse included that you're supposed to replace with a fuse on the left shock tower. The only fuse I could find is a 2 amp. Am I missing something here? I don't feel comfortable replacing a 2 amp fuse with a 20 amp. Thanks.

Nor should you... DO NOT CHANGE OUT THAT FUSE.

Best for you to wire this block into the heater/headlight circuit... heaters work from AC.

That 2 amp fuse is for charging cell phones etc... and draws from the ECU power.

I have the same kit... nice quality kit...but the power supply needs to be re-thought.

Thanks. I guess I didn't understand what the point of the 20 amp fuse is. There is already power everywhere, or is there not enough power to run the throttle block heater? I have it plugged into the plug between the headlights and it seemed to warm up a bit when I had it idling for a few minutes in the shop.
