BC has-

adj ski stance ..either stock renegade or 2" narrower
6.9" summit skis
shorter gearing
off trail clutching
16/1.75" track
premium shocks..(verify on website, they changed things around agaim)-BJ

BTW- if your an off trail/trail guy buy the BC...

Back Country X or the Renegade X both in 800R form

Big John

thanks for the input

I am a off trail kinda guy but I also like to rail it a high speeds sometimes and thought that the R X was wider than the BC X ,
42.4 vs 38.4 to 40.1 respectively

so I thought mabey they had diff control arms and diff length shocks

I like the 16 wide track but not sure on the 1.75 lug on acount of MPG and Hyfax wear.

so Mabey I could switch the R X 15 wide to the 16 wide and go with a 1.5 Cross counrty style track

and not sure how much lower the gearing on the BC X is compared to the R X

are you sure that the BC X is as wide as the R X in the full wide stance and when and how do they measure them with the susp fully colapsed or fully
extended or at some predetermined ride height ?

I want the wide stance with 16 wide so i figgure it would be cheaper to change the track and skis on the R X, rather than change the control arms, gearing, and track and posibbly the shocks on
the BC X
but if they share the same ski stance mabey its better to get BC X and leave the 1.75 on it (which track are they going with )

I am thinking the clutching and helixs will be different also any comment on this

BJ- the spec sheet shows summit ski stance, BUT the same sheet shows 48" over all width aka MXZ ski stance

so I thought mabey they had diff control arms and diff length shocks

BJ- just add scratchers...MPG??

BJ- 1.25 track is 25/45 so I would guess 23/45?? for the BC

are you sure that the BC X is as wide as the R X in the full wide stance and when and how do they measure them with the susp fully colapsed or fully
extended or at some predetermined ride height ?

BJ- ski stance is measured at rest...not collapsed

BJ- I'm sure theres a minor change..again for off trail back shift vs on trail up shift
