So I need to swap my stock x-fire drivers for M series units. To remove them from the shaft, do they simply press off? Are there any tricks?

Well my plan was to use used parts all around. However, I was told by two sources (one a very reputable A/C dealer) that once you press the drivers off it is not a good idea to press them back on. They will likely slip on the drive shaft. Well I don't want to deal with that in the middle of bumble f*&k Wyoming so off to plan b. In fact, the shop I bought a used M8 drive shaft is going to send me the correct M7 unit and also pay for the shipping for me to return the M8 unit. Awesome service!
