Just curious.

Are there any other Yamaha riders that have ponied up for the new Raptor Triple Rate "Clicker" shocks yet?

I hope to have mine out for their first run this weekend and will of course offer as many comments as possible, but I wanted to know if anyone else has some feedback to offer up yet?

Personally I am NOT looking for a subtle change in performance on my sled. I am hoping to see a significant change in my ability to get the sled over on her side and keep her there for sidehilling and sharp turns.

I am really hoping this slogan holds true!!

Last shocks were the upgraded EVOLs.
I am trying the Raptors this season at the request of KMOD.
We had installed them on the new skid last year and really liked that.
So I decided to put them all around on the sled and see how they perform.

Yeah i ponied up $1100 for 2 front shocks on my nytro. I will be taking mine out this weekend for a litte test and tune. We have very little snow, so I don't expect it test quite well for a comparison to my fox.

I went with the gold ones---the look sweet!!

have to agree with you on the looks.
They are gorgeous.
But I am hoping the performance outshines the looks!!

We put a set ....

..of custom Raptors on Laird's Pro Apex as well. He was never impressed with the WE that we had on the sled when we built it. They were like virtually no suspension at all. Jake built us a set that he custom calibrated for the Apex 4 cylinder weight in our light 4130 chassis. Laird rode it both days over the last weekend and was double thumbs up with the performance of the shocks. We ordered another set with a slightly different valving to compare against, those are installed now, and ready for testing on his next ride.

Thanks Jake!!

Dang.
He must have liked them to get a 2nd set as well.

Yep...

They were that good, haha

We have wanted to try a few options to establish the best shock for our application, the Boosted Apex engine in our light chassis with a Polaris style suspension is a bit of a unique build. Jake at Raptor has provided us some different valving to compare against.:face-icon-small-hap
