Quiet exhaust for kx450f?

I rode Timbersled's demo kx450f and it seemed very quiet. Once it was around the corner or in the trees, I couldn't hear it.

-now-

My 2012 kx450f is louder than any sled I've heard. I'd love suggestions for a quiet exhaust with spark arrestor. I've emailed Timbersled to ask what they are using......

It is almost time to put the wheels back on for a couple of months! :face-icon-small-con

I THINK that Timbersled is probably running the stock exhausts on it's demo fleet. Wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to me to dump aftermarket money into a bike that only potential customers ride.

The difference might be the model years. 2012 vs 2011? I know my stock 2011 exhaust is very quiet until you snap into WOT. Most the people I know are running full FMF w/ Powerbomb mid pipes and they are really throaty when pushed hard.

I put a Moto Works full system on my 2011 KX450. I comes with a spark arrestor and is 94 db. Nice system.

You know that a turbo acts like a muffler. So I am thinking a turbo with the stock muffler is going to be the answer for me…. I do not see any other affective way for a quieter exhaust system…. LOL!!!

I've got a used Leo Vince slip on I have no use for anymore.

I'd sell it for $150 shipped with a quiet core. it's in good shape, and fits your bike. I had mine on a 2009 KX450F
