Don't think there is any sort of engine recall I've owned my 2012 rmk assault since new and only had one minor recall about the oil line routing. I can say I've had good luck with my sled no issues besides reeds at 2000 miles which was covered under warranty.

11/12 vs 13/14/15.

More finicky/injector issues.

Heavier.

No belt drive

Less comfortable seat.

Other than that great sleds.

between pros? 11/12 boards suck, I like the seat better, No belt drive, 11s may have outdated injectors, 13+ has better wiring,
That being said im still on an 11. and have no interest to trade up yet.

Yup ^^^^^

My 11 makes me grin.
I keep trying out a buddies xm and it underwhelms me.
Power = rubber band like and mine outclimbs it.
Handling = water buffalo.

Oh yeah he just bent his second e and s module. :)

11 (maybe 12 too?) have steel welded a arms (not glued) and 11/12 have aluminum over structure vs 13+ carbon fiber.

I have been dumping money into my 11 this year and people ask me why I don't just buy a new one. In my eyes my 11 is better/stronger than the newer ones, a bit heavier though. I might buy a used 16 after they come out but mostly to have another sled for my boy (and and backup).

You like the 11 seat better than the new seats? I thought the 11 seat was terrible. The new seats are shorter (better for moving around on) and much more comfortable IMO.

I just like the 11 seat. 13 doesn't feel right. Can't put a finger on it. As far as wiring just compare the 2. 13+ is way more simplified and cleaner looking

I have only dug into a 12. If a person had a 11/12 tore down would there be any gain in swapping the wire harness?

My 11 seat was akin to sitting on a 2x4. Swapped it out after 1 ride. Made my butt look big.

11/12 pro's have longer front shocks with steel arms. In case you end up playing a-arm bingo. 11/12's - Steel driveshaft. Board comments are spot-on. Same tunnel weaknesses as 13/14, weaker boards, stronger front end.
