I am putting taller bars on the kids 440 and have a brand new throttle cable extender to use.

The instructions don't mention any sort of lubricant to be placed in the box before I seal it up. Should I run it dry or squirt some silicon lubricant in it to help keep it smooth and minimize plastic galling?

Thanks

I just did one on my kids sled and it came with a little packet of grease.

Correct. I've seen a couple done and both had a small packet of lube included.

Just replaced my throttle extender and it came with lubricant as well.

If you misplaced the lube packet, you may want to try some white lithium grease. I used it in the old throttle extender for years and didn't have any problems. Ran it in -30 temps and it didn't stick or gum up.

Thanks.

This was a brand new package I just opened on the bench and didn't find a packet of lube. I have some silicone based grease, white lithium, spray silicon, etc. Just didn't want to use something that might get sticky over time or during colder events.
