Polaris 800 Liberty 800 Motor

I have a 800 cc Liberty Polaris engine for sale. I built it as a spare for my Edge style RMK's which I have now sold.


Crank work done by Hanson Racing in St. Paul. Crank has the 48 mm single PTO bearing like the new 800's. Re-nikasiled cylinders, Polaris pistons, seals and gaskets.


Add reed valves, carb, and exhaust valve springs and you're ready to go. . .

CDI has PERC and DET. Head is from a DET style (2004 on) motor.

I also have a left hand PERC control and wiring harness if your sled doesn't have PERC and you would like to add it.

Just an update.

I had a question about the cylinders. They are #3021202 which are from an 02 800 per the Polaris cross reference site. That means no compression release.

The crankcase is dated: 7/18/02 so it must be for the 03 model year.

The head is from an 05 with DET.

I have stock head covers if the flame is a turn off.
