So i shut it off and checked the oil level, no oil in the tank (or at least not on the dip stick)
I have put in 3.8 liters like the manual says? WTF is going on now??\ its not circulating through tank!!!!!!

Did you get the two oil hoses on the front of the engine mixed up ? As you're sitting on the sled the gray hose goes on the left and the other one is on the right.

Ken.............

hey Ken,

nope gray hose is on the left!! i just took the black house off (one on the right) and started the sled up quick, nothing pushes out! No air no nothing??? WTF??

Justin

Use the search feature. The fix is blow air in the oil tank, oil will start moving around. Dont get crazy with the blow gun, little shots. Trust me, if dont believe, use the search feature.

Hey guys. Think I have a leak on top of this whole no oil in tank thing. I've got the motor almost sitting on the bench again. Then will go over everything. This is turning out to. Be a real bit/h.

Cheers

thanks ken! Heres a good one! AS i have been doing all these tests i have not had the air box on with the two vacuum lines hooked up? What dose that say to you guys??

I don't see where the airbox ( do you mean intercooler ? ) would have anything to do with oil pressure. I always put 1/2 quart of oil in the valve cover and the rest in the tank when I fill them.

Ken.......

Ken, nope there's two vacume lines that go to the air box or intercooler and I was just wondering if they had anything to do with my problem.

Hey ken,

Ok now oil thing is resolved dont really want to say what the problem was tho as its rather embarrassing! The whole oil issue was caused on the stupid fact the when the motor blew up and when i rebuilt it and cleaned the oil pump, i simply forgot to put the pin in the pump!
Shes alive now tho! Other then i got the engine light flashing twice and then it goes off, two flashes and then off!! Any idea to why this is??

Justin

My manual is for a 03 but it shows Two flashes and 1.75 second gap and two flashes as a shorted grip warmer problem.

Ken......

hummmmm interesting, yep that is was i have" Two flashes and 1.75 second gap and two flashes"!! well one of the hand warmer wires i did fix cause it broke for what ever reason!!
