A Super light PRO RMK dream build for me if I had the money.

A lot of the parts are not available... they would have to be custom made and "bribed" for the production of.

Super Light (SuperLeggera)... very easy to throw around because of the 600 short stroke (64mm).

Excellent ride suspension... super light with very good shocks!!

I could see about a $35,000 build, not including labor!

it is a dream build for sure. Can you give a starting weight and the weight drop of each item to show marginal gains? This would help with priorities.

So your whipping out the fancy italian supercar name tag and not going with a full CF chassis and just a 685?

Why not go with power addictions massive engine with a name like that?

Sounds pretty moderate of a built for a dream sled...:face-icon-small-con

Superleggera is just Italian for "super light"
I think the first was the Ferrari... Some Ducati bikes had this name too.

Brads motor rocks...Watching that thing in the milling machine getting made was a pretty amazing sight for sure... I hope to throw a leg over one this winter in a PRO RMK.

The 685 would still be lighter and a bit more nimble with a 13mm smaller stroke. IMO.. that will add greatly to the "fun factor"

Full CF chassis would be nice... not sure how much lighter it would get me though.

Yea icerider.... it's a dream for sure. Not for us poor people.

Aston Martin also used the Superleggara moniker on the DB4. The only reason I know is that I restored one in a former life.

NICE !! yup 30 k easy, trust me I know, purple sled below has it all done to it. Sad part is its money down the drain other than the great fun riding it around. And its interesting to see how the percentage of weight dropped to the money spent has changed as the sleds get better and lighter. When my edge was built it was lightyears ahead of any stock sled, now for the same money you pick up a small advantage.....progress.
I weigh about 300 all geared up, by friend about 200 both of us on pros, not as much difference chasing each other around as you might think.

I would love to have that sled...one thing I do know, Mitch (Evans Marine) builds one h*ll of a sled, I have had a chance to ride his cf tunneled dragon with a BD turbo, I wish I could run my pro with that setup!

Since your only at the $30k mark why not throw in a Custom Titanium Single pipe and a Carbonsled cf muffler.. That ought to shave quite a few pounds for a couple grand. Ti exhaust is fairly common in most super bikes these days.

BTW, the slydog skis are about 1lb each heavier than the stock Grippers. In my opinion they do not handle very well on the Pro. However, I did like them on the IQ.
