losing spark on fusion 900

i just purchased a 2005 fusion 900 last year. it was non running when bought but since then i have rebuilt the motor from the bottom up. after rebuild it wouldnt keep constant spark. so i had a friend bring his over and we change litterally everything. it will only run for like 12 seconds and shut off. and it did this with my complete wiring and parts as it did with his stuff. ive had it reflashed at a dealer and still cant figure it out. please help me cause im sick of this machine.

have you changed the stator?
