So I am looking at moving west and hear Alb. Is a great city...

Question is what is the riding season in a typical year (dec-may), type of snow conditions during riding season, how far are riding areas, wilderness, and is there a good size sledding community?

I generally ride in Montana and Wyoming and like the deep dry powder days but also like the warm sunny spring days, too.

Thanks in advance and any and all info is appreciated!

Just visit 4-5 times per year. life throttles bout 60 percent from Texas. That is not a complaint. Bought property 3 hours north and went last week to Hopewell. Warm and wet snow. A newby on sleds, mainly a casual 4 wheeler. Enough snow to ride above 9000 ft. May call Questa and Tres Piedras Ranger Districts. The TP monitors depth at Hopewell Lake and sometimes helpful, never called Questa. Kudos on the Rosedale MS. folks.
