Jackson Meadows area conditions

Road it yesterday... The road had been plowed past the split for Meadow Lake and White Rock... We staged there and road some of the roads... even got into a couple meadows I had checked out with the rock crawler last week... Was fun couple pow turns but if ya don't know whats underneath don't chance it stick to the roads! there is was less than 10 inches up top from the new storm and like 10 inches from the early storm that was a bit firmer. This storm tonight is gonna be light and isn't gonna help the base yet so be careful! I am headed back out in the morning I will try to post more pics.

This storm is very cold with snow going down to 3000 feet.

At riding elevation above 7000 feet Shasta and Truckee area are suppose to get a foot of light dry powder.

This stuff usually just blows around.

So there was over 2 feet out there but anywhere that didn't have snow already we hit the bottom even if it was pavement... but the places we knew had a base were great! most people stuck to the roads but we knew where to go and are headed back tomorrow.
