Depends on the oil you are burning.
Polaris's Extreme doesn’t burn off well. It’s a good oil, but leaves a lot of residue on exhaust valves.

What oil do you run and how often do you clean your exhaust valves?

I have been running the Extreme and clean valves at 3-500 miles. The barrel is empty so….
Going to try Yamaha 2S next year. It’s a semi-synthetic.
I ran through a 55gallon drum of Ski-doo semi-synthetic, a couple years ago, that worked very well. BRP quit making it.
