I did it already. Only 12 miles. Need to replace some control arms. - ball joint question

I was playing in the neighbor's field and found a slab of concrete. 2 new uppers, steering rod, and a ball joint. How hard is it to replace the lower control arm ball joint?

Check you engine module for cracks. The ball joints are not hard if you have a press

I'm a Poo guy so I don't know what it takes to fix it. Hopefully it's an easy fix and you didn't get hurt. Get that bad boy up and running and then hit some killer POW ?

Don't attempt it If you don't have a press and the proper tools to remove and install your current ball joint. I tried to do it with couple of sockets and a vise one time and I messed up the seal. Doo sells special tools, but it's probably not worth it unless you plan on wrecking more a-arms. I would take the old one to your dealer when you go to pick up the replacement parts and have them install it for you. Also, if this happened while you were on a carve, you probably cracked your S-module.

I was moving pretty slow at the time and inspected everything I could. Plastic seal on the upper ball joint was cracked, but other than that, only the original list of parts. Almost back together. Thanks for the info.
