Heated grip ?

I have a 2011 800 etec and I have went through 2 sets of grip heaters this season. Twice they melted a about a 1/4" hole through the grips and then stopped working. Never had any issues before this season. Anyone else ever have this issue?

Nope. Mine keep shorting out, wear and tear in the trees. I replace mine every year. An air compressor and a small nozzle to blow up the grip really helps getting them on and off.

Grips twisted/twisting? Sometimes you can break them if the grips twisted. When I do mine I use new cork with a wrap of masking tape then new heater and tape in three different parts with electrical tape. I use OEM heaters.
