Gen4 December delivery

Posted this yesterday on Dootalk:

So today we have a snowdepth of 48cm at our cabin as you can see below and there is still 50 more days before SKI-DOO will deliver my sled!!
It is snowing more and more every day and at about 75cm the backcountry season starts, witch means it will not be long.
BRP please explain to me why we Scandinavian customers are less worth then the Northamerican ones, because the math here is really easy it does not take 70-50 days to ship a container to Sweden!

I can understand the hole late delivery thing and I was well aware of it when i placed my order in February but prioritizing certain country's before others makes no sense when we also have snow i November.

The 850 better be good.

You are waiting on a machine and us in the Rocky Mountain west are waiting on snow. What a deal.

Here I sit on this damn computer with two Summit X 850s and no snow:face-icon-small-fro

Weather looks to be changing, hope to be riding soon!:)

summit seeker whats your review of the new sled?

I can't really give it an honest review. I only put 24.6 KM on it on the weekend which worked out to be 6 percent break in.

It was soooo socked in and snowing, I could not tell if I was moving or stopped and waaaaay too many landmines to open it up.

That being said, I did spend about an hour on one last March and got a good feel for the sled. It made a good enough impression on me to snowcheck one.

Sucks to be you I guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in Maine still have green grass!!!!!!!!

Just talked to my dealer here in northwest Iowa, they can only tell me December....No shipping info yet. As a business owner, if I had these kinds of delivery issues and piss-poor communication with my customers, I would be out of business! Get your crap together Doo!!

154x3 Creamsicle in WI, my dealer says December.

Did I hear that Polaris emails you when your sled is being made and ships? Something about at the end of the assembly line it scans your sled and sends an email to you letting you know it has been built? Might just be a rumor I heard?

That is correct! And from what I heard they fulfill snowcheck customers orders first. Like it should be!!!

Lots of pissed off people here waiting for their sled!!!!!

Maybe Doo should take notes from Polaris so customers get their purchase before the riding season!!!!

To late I won't be snowchecking a skidoo next year...I've done it for the last 20+ years..done.. I've been told 3 times it should be here ..no show every time. Then the dealer/parts kid cops a attitude with me after I asked were my sled is? It's to bad this new dealer is trying to get more customers back and this parts kid is ruining for them!..the story now is the truck driver got sick and the sleds are still sitting on his truck in Canada:face-icon-small-con

your dealer should know approx. 10 days before the sled is delivered because the invoice is emailed to the dealer
