Anyone on here score this yet? P/N 860 201 224. A couple of the dealers I talked to said they were back ordered and didn't even get them in their IO's. What's the hold up?

Tell ya what.
I could FEEL my 850 starving for air this weekend at Tog...

They are super easy to do used I used Aluminium Mosquito Netting Cut to sized Glued them With (The Right stuff from Permatex) on the outside of the grill. Much more airflow than the Doo ones have. No one ever even notices them They are black and blend right in, best part cost was a couple bucks worth of mosquito netting. I did this with a lot of lightweight hoods before for Venting it can also be painted any colour that you like.

I was thinking that. I've got a bunch of material I ordered from SailRite a couple years ago. Thanks all.

I think intake wise, Pow was deeeep, dry, bottomless this weekend. Intake constantly clogged. These need way more intake air ports.

Let alone Doo raised the price from $105 in the magazine to $125 US online. There is probably $5 in material there. I'm probably going with JC Customs even though they are $115. They are removable as well but I'm kinda tired of paying the ridiculous prices for Doo accessories. Anyone have pics of your do it yourself screens?

Like engine intake wise or heat in the engine compartment wise?

The vents were getting PACKED full of snow and no air getting into the engine. Would stop, clean them off, and then the engine would come back to full power.

Takes technique!
Swipe and ride!
Swipe before techical climb!
Swipe while boondocking!

I guess I had a different experience. Deep powder both days this weekend and the vents did have snow over them, but no loss of power or bog issues.

Then you weren't in deep power.... especially the deep, dry, fluffy, no base Wyoming Rocky Mountain powder. We were in 3.5-4ft of fresh Saturday and 4-5ft total fresh Sunday.

Proof, from Saturday. A buddy stuck pretty good.

The entire top of the sled will have 1.5-2 ft snow mound on top in 2-3fy of forward travel. Impossible to swipe while moving, since it loads up so fast.

As these vents are very nice and could be useful. I do not think they can stand in place and do they same job as the Ski-doo "Pre-Filter Grill Kit"
