With the Paragon you always gear down (if you don't, they wont work right). Why be geared for 80+mph when your track speeds are well below 50? When initially gearing down with the Team secondary to 18/45 it was a complete turd! Then switched to a Paragon secondary, 75/135 primary spring and around 51 gram 10m style weights that have 1 gram taken off the underneath side toward the tip. The Hi-Tech setups don't rely on killer springs and weights, therefore can shift deeper into the secondary without trying to compress a coil spring from an F-350. We had a comparison sled while tuning it, both climbing and on the trail. This Dragon runs!
