I went quite a bit lower, 2.52 ratio and had to put a steeper initial angle helix to get the motor loaded, I am running a 60/42 right now. Overall its better than the stock helix. But with your 2.25 I don't think you will have to change anything.

On my 19 850, I ran qd1, pro gears and now qd2. I have used the TRS kit the hole time. With the qd1 and pro gears I never changed a thing with clutching. With the qd2 I went from the 46 to the 42 start angle, the sled pulled better in that angle.

i was curious about the same thing.
I have a 2020 850, started life as a 155.
It has TRS clutching.
max rpm was about 8300, maybe a rare 8350

now sled is a 165, with 6 tooth 3.5 drivers, and QD2.
same TRS clutching.
Now sled will hit 8450 easily and I have seen 8550 a time or two. seems a bit higher than it should be.

should anything be done?

Kylant add some clutch weight, I also added a doo 165 track at the same time as the qd2, so my set up is a bit different.
