Extending my track from 121 to 136 Yamaha VMAX

Do I need to move my heat exchanger back well extending my 1999 Yamaha VMAX 700 SX from a 121 to a 136?

20 yrs ago, i extended an MXZ 121 to a 144 2in. It got hot on packed trails. I extended the snowflap 2ft. It drug the trail.
I don't think i had ice scratchers on the sled? Ice scratchers make a huge difference for cooling. U probably will be fine with ice scratchers.

I read online that if u go from a 121 to a 144 people suggest doing it but can’t find nothing from a 121 to a 136

I put a few thousand miles on that MXZ without extending the cooler.
